ACTIVITIES
- To ensure coordination of employer representatives defined in our university with the rectorate,
- Monitoring the formation of risk assessment, Occupational Health and Safety Unit boards and emergency teams in units and the up-to-date records,
- Ensuring that OHS unit board meetings are held at specified times,
- Planning and implementing risk assessment team trainings with our Occupational Health and safety experts,
- To organize the renewal of risk assessment in units and to ensure regular site controls,
- To follow up the beat for each OHS unit,
- To plan and perform” basic occupational health and safety training " for our academic and administrative staff and students,
- To ensure that the outputs of basic occupational health and safety training are evaluated and measured,
- To prepare certificates for the participants who are successful and participating in the trainings,
- Organization and documentation follow-up of detail trainings provided by AFAD with AFAD support, consultancy for emergency action plans , drill plans, coordination for first aid courses,
- To keep a record of the events that occurred in our university but which did not cause death or injury, and which had the potential to cause damage to the employee, equipment or workplace,
- Advising unit employers on annual periodic maintenance work and creation of an equipment database,
- To maintain periodic control and environmental measurement applications that must be done in accordance with occupational health and safety legislation,
- Occupational Health and Safety Unit to ensure that the internal directive drafts are prepared in all affiliated units,
- To follow the conferences, seminars, and courses organized in cooperation with the domestic and international organizations that work on Occupational Health and safety,
Definitions:
WHS: Workplace Health and Safety Unit
Certified notebook: a single notebook for each workplace, with serial numbers and pages arranged in one original two-copy form, in which the determinations and recommendations made by the workplace physician and occupational safety expert and other matters deemed necessary are written. ,
Employee representative: the employee authorized to represent the employees in the fields of participation in work related to occupational health and safety, monitoring the work, asking for measures to be taken, making proposals and so on.,
